Context/Scope: Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) Region is one of the growth engines of DIAGEO globally. The LAC business continues to focus on expanding throughout the region, taking advantage of favorable macroeconomic conditions and consumer trends. One of the key enablers to this ambition is the deployment of Diageo’s Simple Business Model (SBM) – Diageo’s Global Template. SBM consists of three elements: SAP, Global Processes and Shared Services. This project will result in aligning each market to the global Finance and IS Systems and Process Strategy via a mature Diageo SBM and Diageo Business Services (DBS) offering. This is a major Regional business process and transformational change programme with an investment of circa GBP 20m over 3 - 4 years. SBM is scheduled to be deployed in 9 markets in LAC.
Purpose of Role: The purpose of the BA role is to support the RPO to lead markets project team members in LAC to:
• ensure the successful implementation of SBM global processes and complementary local processes as required
• support a step change in the utilization of the SBM asset across LAC
Top 3-5 Accountabilities: Project Management
• Produce & manage detailed project plan for process and ensure compliance with entry & exit of phases.
• Schedule & run workshops to ensure full market understanding of the SBM and to identify all gaps
• Compile weekly status reports for submission to Project Leadership Team.
• Manage other resources as agreed with the Project Manager
• Ensure strict adherence to governance rules for the project including sign off for design by the GPO
• Handover to DBS & local process owners
• Provide support to the market process owners and Regional Process / DBS leads, build in-market SBM process knowledge
• Support population of change management impact assessment (resulting from new SBM processes) & support delivery of change management plan in market & DBS
• Document daily activities for post go-live organisation
• Update training materials, provide training as required
• Complete documentation of SBM processes
• Develop solutions for market’s statutory requirements
• Confirm with project process Leads that all design attributes are consistent with other processes
• Ensure system built fully meets the design
• Ensure compliance with SBM, & describe implications to market & DBS
• Active role in testing, warranty & cutover. Develop approach & plan; resolve system & non system issues
• Support data mapping deliverables & data load validations

• APICS certificate desirable
Knowledge
• Good understanding of business processes (including commercial impact)
• Experience with SAP R/3 data maintenance, migration and conversion tools and concepts.
• Essential knowledge of supply chain systems Manugistics/SAP and supply chain processes (planning, replenishment, scheduling, MTO, manufacturing, materials and service supply)
• Fluent English and Spanish

• Experience in an operations and /or supply chain management environment
• Manufacturing and inventory management experience
• Excellent data management skills; great attention to detail
• Experience of using appropriate project management tools and systems
• Working in project management which covers multiple locations and functions
• Ability to present complex information in a form appropriate for decision making
