We seek to fill the above position of Country Programme Manager- Uganda with-an individual who has good analytical, organizational and communication skills, is capable of working independently and as part of a team. You should be highly professional, self motivated and a proven high achiever with good leadership skills.
Reporting to the Executive Director you will be charged with the responsibility of initiating, developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating all EAGC Uganda programmes. You will also manage all budgets and budget approvals. Based in Kampala, your job profile will include the following among other things:
• Coordinate, manage and implement the EAGC Uganda Chapter Strategic Plan
• Coordinate, Manage and ensure implementation of EAGC Uganda programs and projects
• Co-ordinate EAGC Uganda advocacy agenda
• Manage all EAGC Operations in Uganda
• Manage all EAGC Uganda Staff, partnerships and outsourced consultants
• Manage EAGC Uganda budgets including fund raising

You will be an Agricultural Economics or Business Administration University Degree Holder or
equivalent in a related field relevant to the commodity trading sector.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in the agricultural or grain sector. We are seeking for a resourceful individual, with strong and persuasive interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work and deliver under pressure and with minimum supervision.
