We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Director, Enterprise Services, Southern Africa Regional Office in Pretoria, South Africa.
Position Description:
Provides enterprise services support and leadership to FHI 360 in the Southern Africa region.
Major duties will include technical assistance, training and mentoring in finance, contracts and grants, administration, and procurement; strengthening country office systems in the assigned region; and reviewing/monitoring compliance with FHI 360 and donor policies and procedures. This position will also administratively manage the Southern Africa Regional Office and assist in harmonizing Enterprise Services systems, tools and resources within the region.
- Leads the operational and tactical activities for the departments to ensure company/client standards and policies are met.
- Develops and implements processes and procedures to achieve department goals and ensure compliance with government standards.
- Builds partnerships and networks with internal and external clients to maximize the achievement of business goals.
- Oversees the strategic direction, budgetary planning, process improvement plans, and training of staff to ensure business objectives are met and client satisfaction is achieved.
- Identifies and consultants with executive management regarding recommendations on strategic goals to make better business decisions.
- Guides managers and staff to achieve strategic and operational goals for the department and organization.
- Comprehensive knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures with project and business management.

Multi-sectorial experience in the areas of healthcare, economic development, public health, and education
Articulate, professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive manner with clients and staff.
Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English; fluent in host country language.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or its international equivalent in Business or related field. Typically requires 10+ years of finance management experience.
Master’s degree or its international equivalent in Business or related field preferred. Prior work in a non-governmental organization (NGO).
