To develop and deliver a strategy for SME Value Center, to double economic profits in 3-5 years for the segment.
To work as part of the country top team, to support delivery of the country overall economic profit performance goal.
To achieve growth within business risk parameters.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Drive an effective, strategy, business model and customer value proposition that focuses on building and deepening relationships with existing and new profitable customers.
Develop a credible and profitable set of products to attract and retain valuable customers.
Develop and implement effective approaches to new customer acquisition (either product/promotion focused or direct sales focused).
Develop and manage effective business channels.
Ensure an efficient, customer friendly approach to handling customer transactions and queries in SME.
Manage a motivated and focused value center team, consistently delivering:
Creative, Precise and Customer-focused product management
High quality sales and servicing - that reflects the needs of the customer.
Achieve a balance between risk vs reward by:
Enforcing high underwriting standards\Active management of credit risks
Proactive collection effort
Ensure the business meets its obligations on the prevention of Money Laundering under the group policy and standards and under local laws and regulations.
Ensure there are appropriate internal controls and procedures in place and documented. Monitor the operation of such procedures and controls and regularly review them to ensure they reflect any changes in products, systems, policy or regulations.
Remain Alert to the risk of Money laundering and assist in the Bank's effort in combating it by adhering to the key principles in relation to: identifying your customer, knowing your customer, transaction monitoring, reporting suspicions, safeguarding records and not disclosing suspicions to customers
Qualifications & Skills
This role requires a complex range of management & leadership skills.
A strategic thinker and leader, capable of taking bold entrepreneurial steps to transform the way the industry delivers financial services to small business.
Proven track record in business goal management
University Graduate with mature managerial experience in commercial / consumer financial services.
In-depth knowledge of products, services and delivery channels available to small-medium companies
Well-informed of the market competitive structure, industry practices and regulations for business banking with extensive experience in local environment
Good knowledge and experience in business credit and trade services.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and financial management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, internally and externally.
A self-driven individual with well-developed leadership, motivational and team-building skills
Effective writing and presentation skills
Ability to identify need for change, adaptable and flexible in anticipating and realizing market opportunities
