PUMA Energy Tanzania is now seeking highly qualified Tanzanians to join its local and global family as Mining & Business Development Manager and Stocks Supervisor
The Role:
Reporting to the General Manager, the role will be accountable for maximizing contribution to the Company’s performance through Mining and Lubricants business in by managing core functions and processes to ensure key deliverables are met; will contribute strongly in implementing the total fluid Management offer in partnership with third party technology partners. The role will be supported at high level through interaction with the centre of excellence
Key responsibilities will include:
a multiple level relationship development and management of relevant customer base to ensure new business and volume growth, will manage lubes supply chain Interface, ensure effective inventory management, pricing and profitability. Will be a key player in developing and implementing contracts management framework to ensure obligations thereto are executed of which value management is critical; will be accountable for managing profit/loss within the portfolio; will be accountable for leveraging technology driven offer distinctiveness within the Country through liaison with customers, business partners, development teams and suppliers in relation to design specifications, validation and supply of technology solutions
The Person:
Shall be a technical degree holder or equivalent, a technical qualification in a mining environment will be an added advantage
Shall have extensive experience in sales/marketing of not less than 5years in Oil & Gas industry four of which must be at Management level, prior experience in similar roles will be an added advantage
Shall be an entrepreneurial minded person, with adequate business acumen, result oriented, able to work independently and in a team, comfortably able to interact with multiple levels of stakeholders including management, staff and clients
Shall have high level of analytical and problem solving ability. An excellent track record of successful career is critica
