Direct Supervisor: Project Officer
Duty Station: Juba County
Educational Background: Bachelors or equivalent competency
Experience Required: - At least 15 years working experience
- At least 5 years managerial experience (preferably in WATSAN projects and community development projects)
- At least 7 years working experience in Development field or relief work (preferably in WATSAN, community development, community mobilization).
- Working Experience or collaboration experience in administration, finance or logistics is preferable.
Required Competency:
- Ability to work as a coordinator, facilitator and trainer in a project team.
- Ability to handle the challenging situation and solve the problems with logical analysis
- Ability to facilitate the discussion among various parties and reach to the concrete outcome
- Excellent reporting skill with MS-Word, Excel
- Fluent in English (Writing, Reading, Listening)/ Command of local languages
- Excellent interpersonal skill
- Ability to coordinate and cooperate with local authority, community and other aid agencies
- Ability to organize training, workshop and so on in the community
- South Sudanese Nationals
- Ability on procurement process and cash handling
Duties and Responsibilities
Project Implementation & Management under supervision of Program Officer and Project Officer (Supervisors)
Plan and Organize daily activities according to the project concept and objectives in cooperation with Supervisors
Implement and Monitor the project activities in cooperation with Supervisors
Report activity progress on daily and weekly basis to the Supervisors.
Support Supervisors to conduct the assessment to identify the needs or evaluate the project
Support other field staff implementing the projects with any kind of means, in order to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of project implementation.
Coordinate and Communicate with the community and local authority to obtain the maximum cooperation.
Communicate closely with the direct supervisor, report any progress, problems faced with possible solutions on timely basis
Be fully accountable about project activities to related parties such as people in the community, local authority and other aid agencies
Perform any other tasks assigned by supervisor(s)
